Bug Description

Universal Access 'beep on caps lock or num lock' doesn't beep. Check and unchecking the box doesn't change anything in regards to being notified. This is happening on real hw.

This is probably related to bug 769314 (and a number of similar bugs).

Either we need to fix Ubuntu to allow beeping or we should hide all the beep options in the Seeing & Typing tabs of System Settings>Universal Access.

This remains an issue in 14.04. Its really unfortunate that Ubuntu is not supporting this Accessibility feature for people with disabilities.

It does not work in Ubuntu 16.04 either.
