Bug Description

Note: This has been refiled as Bug #1057020

In Lubuntu 12.10 Beta1 (and earlier):

The enlightenment /etc/enlightenment/sysactions.conf file in the e17 package has the wrong actions for Ubuntu systems for suspending and hibernating. They should be:

/usr/sbin/pm-suspend
/usr/sbin/pm-hibernate

Anyone installing e17 cannot suspend or hibernate. It is a simple fix but needs to be added at every new version.

See: http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/ticket/732

Thanks.

---------------
e17 (0.17.3-0ubuntu2) saucy; urgency=low

  * debian/control: build-dep on pm-utils so we can have a default
    sysactions.conf that allows suspend & hibernate (LP: #1055713)

Actually, pm-suspend and pm-hibernate "may only be run by the root user". I guess, a dbus-/upower-based solution would work better.
