Thanks, can you look at version 1.5 and decide if you'll package it?

I've installed the package (1.4) by manual download from your repository. It's running fine so far, but there is no menu entry, even after logging out and in again. Thanks again for building this for Ubuntu.

Trying to burn a set of four mpeg2 files to an ISO for checking I get:

1 - I will package the 1.5 version
2 - The problem with the icon came when I didn't include icons on my package
3 - This bug is strange, I don't have it on my vmware

I prefer not to package dvdstyler anymore, because I don't have enough time to do it.

Now I'm focusing on qtpfsgui packaging and translation, and on gtklf2bgui project.

I will continue to maintain packages that were accepted, but I won't package any new program.

dvdstyler is available on debian/multimedia.org, we'll only have to adapt it for Ubuntu.

i managed to run dvdstyler_1.4-3_i386.deb from that site http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=92301&package_id=97621 on Hardy (note that this deb file doesn't create a menu entry in Ubuntu)
Later versions from that site have a dependency problem

dvdstyler_1.6.2-0.1_i386.deb (21 May 2008) from http://www.debian-multimedia.org/pool/main/d/dvdstyler/ create a dependency problem with libavcodec51 in Hardy

Having dvdstyler 1.4-3 in repos would be better than nothing but it's quite an old version of DVDStyler (2005!)

I'll check the generated package to see if it follows the Ubuntu rules.

The Source package at <URL:http://revu.ubuntuwire.com/details.py?package=dvdstyler> depends on libwxsvg-dev 1.0b11-0ubuntu1, but I can't find that version. Intrepid currently provides 1.0b8.1-0.3ubuntu3.

I discovered <URL:https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wxsvg/+bug/242572> which should result in the needed package. It's not very convenient to install it on Ubuntu, since you must get the source package from debian-multimedia, apply a debdiff, and then build the resulting source package, so I added that package to my PPA: <URL:https://edge.launchpad.net/~jonner/+archive>
