Bug Description
Upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10 previously failed due to the installer crashing, attempts to complete installation post-crash failed, as Ubuntu didn't recognise the network or audio devices.
Tried to re-install from a Live USB, which crashed on trying to install ubiquity. I've attached syslog.
