Could you try testing this with the development release of Ubuntu, the Hardy Heron, which you can learn more about at http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing . Whether you test with Dapper or Hardy we'll need the log files that ubiquity tells you to attach. In this case they were - '/var/log/ installer/ syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman'.
