Bug Description

During upgrade system to 7.04, 'distribution upgrade' frozen until I 'kill -1' the process :
root 21668 4350 0 09:36 pts/0 00:00:00 /bin/sh /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgstreamer-plugins0.8-0.postinst configure 0.8.12-4ubuntu1
.. and all further process postinst concerning gstreamer0.8 and 0.10

Is this reproducible? Does

  sudo sh -ex /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgstreamer-plugins0.8-0.postinst configure 0.8.12-4ubuntu1 2>&1 | tee /tmp/log

hang? If so, can you please attach /tmp/log ?

gstreamer0.8 has been removed in gutsy, closing the bug
