Bug Description

[Impact]
 * When using a hybrid graphics laptop with an external display connected on startup, a black screen will show on the external display, or the server will refuse to start if the resolution is > primary resolution.
 * On nvidia 319 drivers in the prime configuration, the intel display will stay black.

[Test Case]
 * Connect an external display to the secondary video card, or use nvidia drivers in prime configuration.
 * Witness either a blank screen, or xserver failing to start. Correct behavior is Xserver starting normally, displaying everything.

[Regression Potential]
 * Patch has been in saucy for a while, no regressions happened there.

Hello Maarten, or anyone else affected,

Accepted xorg-server into raring-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/2:1.13.3-0ubuntu6.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. raring has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any updates. Marking the raring task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".
