when system does on standby to blank sreen it fails to recover

Bug Description

I've just did a clean install of ubuntu gutsy gibbon but when system does on standby to blank screen, if i move the cursor it shows on screen but the display keeps black and cannot resume normal operations

Also, where you using a previous version of Ubuntu before?
Without having that problem?
