Bug Description

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW250J laptop and the hotkey for suspending (FN + F12) is mapped as brightness up instead. I followed the instructions on Ubuntu wiki for troubleshooting hotkeys and found out with the help of "evtest" that the hotkey is recognized as "Event code 225 (KEY_BRIGHTNESSUP)" instead of "Event code 205 (KEY_SUSPEND)". I have pasted the evtest report below. This has persisted for several Ubuntu version (, but I failed to report it until now because of procrastination).

Input driver version is 1.0.1

This bug was fixed in the package systemd - 204-5ubuntu10

---------------
systemd (204-5ubuntu10) trusty; urgency=medium

  * Add debian/extra/rules/73-idrac.rules: On Dell PowerEdge systems, the
iDRAC7 and later support a USB Virtual NIC for management. Name this
interface "idrac" to avoid confusion with "real" network interfaces.
  * Pull latest keymaps from upstream git:
    - Acer Aspire One A110 Fn+F5 Key release (LP: #1272658)
    - Sony Vaio VGN-FW250 (LP: #1271163)
