Bug Description

xchat 2.8.8: testing Xubuntu Trusty beta 1 14.04 on vm (Virtualbox 4.3.8 64bit)

Testcase: Xchat in Xubuntu Desktop for Trusty Daily -- Unexpected:
Click X in top right (or left depending on Desktop Environment)
Quit XChat window does NOT appear -- xchat closes immediately

Restarting xchat, clicking x in window then brought up the 'Quit XChat window'; checked 'Don't ask...', quit xchat; restarted and quit with no 'Quit' dialog -- xchat closed.
