fwts (14.08.00) uefivarinfo test would stuck on 12.04.5

Bug Description

While running fwts uefivarinfo test on 12.04.5 (system was installed in UEFI mode)
It would stuck with the following error message:

ubuntu@201209-11717:~$ sudo fwts uefivarinfo
Running 1 tests, results appended to results.log
Test: UEFI variable info query.
*** glibc detected *** fwts: realloc(): invalid next size: 0x00007f5e807a7080 ***
