Mulberry is now Open Source, distributed under an Apache 2 style license. Currently Mac OS X and Linux code bases are available, Win32 will follow soon.

note that this has NOT been fixed in debian, the debian RFP bug has rather expired.

I did have a look at the source, and it is a rather challanging package. the build system relies on internet access and svn, and it contains a whole copy of the ace framework. any packager should prepare to work with upstream on a sane build system.

I also noticed that there is a Freebsd port, maybe their Makefile could be used as a template to fix up the Makefile:
