Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

Cryptic things happen when you try to play with 2 humans in Nibbles.

If the red player loses all his lives first, then when player 2 dies, a red dot will appear at player 1's spawn point. If another worm then runs over that dot, part of his tail will turn red, as player 1 rises from the grave feeding off the passing worm. Not only is this new zombie worm controllable by player 1, but it also has the power to pass through walls, crash through other worms, and eat the brains of any surviving fruit.

The above was in a game with 2 humans and 3 AIs.

Change that to if you’ve got any human players — when one of them runs out of lives, they respawn as the aptly-named “zombie worms” which can eat through walls and other players. Players which have not run out of lives do not possess this capability.

Weird, but an awesome cheat mode (that alas, spoils some of the fun)
