Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

When used in a horizontal panel with small heigth, the network-manager icon is cut; other icons (such as gnome-power-manager's) are scaled well.

This doesn't happen with 'human' theme for me. which gnome theme are you using?

Auch, I'm sorry, I didn't pay attention. The screenshot uses Tango's icons theme, Human scales correctly.

This is happening for me on Clearlooks as well. You wouldn't think the theme would matter; shouldn't nm-applet grab the icon and re-size it appropriately according to its size request?

I am having no problems with taht on Intrepid. Is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I am unable to replicate it on Intrepid as well, trying with three themes/ icon sets, while I could in Hardy. It seems to resize to whatever it is asked to. I'll mark it as Fix Released for now although Stefano if you are still able to reproduce it in Intrepid or Jaunty please let us know and we/you can re-open it!
