Bug Description

https://github.com/borgbackup/borg

Borg is a deduplicating backup program. The main goal of Borg is to provide an efficient and secure way to backup data. The data deduplication technique used makes Borg suitable for daily backups since only changes are stored.

Borg is a fork of Attic and maintained by "The Borg Collective"

Thanks for reporting.

As mentioned in the comment above, borgbackup was synced from Debian and is available in Ubuntu 16.04 and later. (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/borgbackup)

I realize this is probably too late to be of any help, but regarding possible backports, please seee https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports#Requesting_a_Backport.
