Crash when selecting a category in a new entry

Bug Description

Adding (or indeed editing) a menu entry.

When trying to add a category with Select a category I get

menulibre crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_combo_box_popup_for_device()

Apport sends an error message only.

testeed on Xubuntu

only seems to affect 16.04..

tested on both 16.04 and 15.10 with the ppa's and and both upto date.

Only 16.04 crashes
