Bug Description

Running Ubuntu Xenial Xerus (development branch) 16.04 x64
Nautilus 1:3.18.4.is.3.14.3-0ubuntu2

In the file manager there are shortcuts to special folders such as Documents, Music and Pictures. There's also a Trashcan shortcut. When right clicking on the trashcan there's no "empty trash" entry to empty the trashcan. It has the same options as the other shortcuts. If I want to empty trash from the file manager I have to enter the trash folder and delete it's content. That has not been the case in earlier Ubuntu releases.

in fact nautilus needs updating on our side, gtk changed api in 3.18 and nautilus 3.18 is good but our version needs changes, we need something similar to https://git.gnome.org/browse/nautilus/commit/?id=8bbb1b4270fd31bff11c3a00de481e86d0090f4a in spirit (but that gactions change is not going to work on our version)

The bug I reported 1551003 is about missing "browse network".

Xenial Files here does have "trash".

I don't remember "format".
