Bug Description
stage-packages is great, but there are quite a few packages that need some hacking to make work in snappy confinement and directory layout.... i want to be able to quickly get stuff done and use a ppa to get my fixes into my snapcraft built project while i am upstreaming these....
while ppa is cool, it would even be better to have a deb-source plugin so i can just hack in a local tree and build it using snapcraft avoiding the ppa upload/wait for build hassle...

Taking the route of PPAs; do you need debsource as a plugin or as a source type?
Can you log a separate bug for debsource?
