Bug Description

Please sync ldc 1:0.17.1-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Justification: Currently, the LDC version in Xenial is at 1:0.17.0~beta2-1, and I was asked by people in the D community if that could get changed. I think having a beta compiler release in Xenial LTS is generally a bad idea, especially since this version seems to crash when trying to compile certain bits of code (tried it here), so it would be cool if LDC could be updated.
(although the chances might be slim now, given the pre-release-freeze)

I have subscribed ~ubuntu-release to this bug per the freeze exception documentation [1]. We'd prefer that you wait to subscribe ~ubuntu-sponsors until/if the FFe is approved - thanks! I've removed ~ubuntu-sponsors from the subscribers accordingly, for now.

beta→final makes sense and there's only two reverse build dependencies, so low risk. Approved.

Unfortunately, that thing seems to FTBFS now, if you do have the time, according to https://github.com/ldc-developers/ldc/issues/1395 applying the patch https://github.com/ldc-developers/ldc/commit/cb709bfc0a0a3ee8a730c0a99fa53198b6d75364.patch should fix the build (I'll try that when I'm back home).
