Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Hi,

after i started the installation the progress bar window was shown. All works fine. I started konqueror for example at this time to surf in the web and to do something next to the installation. If i wanted to turn back to the progress bar window it was away. I can not find the window but the installation is running(i see that because the cd is working ;) ). Only the Window with the last information in front of the install is shown and i could click the install button again.

Can you still reproduce this in 8.04? If so, can you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug report following the instructions in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs ?

Thanks!
