Bug Description

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 in an ACER travelmate 4000. I have configured the power manager to hibernate when the battery is low charge but this never happens. The computer exhausts the battery and don't hibernate. The same happens with suspend and shut down...

It was reassigned to acpi (where power manager gets it information from about your battery).

The same problems happen to me. I have Dell xps M1530, and running Hardy.
