cut and paste is buggy in Kubuntu 7.10

Bug Description

OS : Kubuntu 7.10

When one cut an file in a source folder and pastes it in the destination folder,the file in the source folder must get deleted. But the file in source folder stays on and appears and translucent icon. One is able to open the file in the source folder and still able to view its contents.
