Bug Description

In gutsy after a fresh install no system sounds are emitted using IntelCH5 IEC958 nor during normal work nor during audio configurazion and tests.

Music sound fine.

I tried reinstall pulse audio and the previous used in feisty but no sounds anyway.

I use Gnome.
