System Config Printer
Printer configuration - localhost
Error
There was a problem connecting to the CUPS server.

root@SpiderWeave:/etc# /etc/init.d/cupsys status
Status of Common Unix Printing System: cupsd is running.

Any suggestions you have are very much appreciated,

 * Stopping Common Unix Printing System: cupsd [ OK ]
dalem@SpiderWeave:~$ sudo system-config-printer
root@SpiderWeave:/etc/cups# /etc/init.d/cupsys start
 * Starting Common Unix Printing System: cupsd [ OK ]
Goto Server, localhost
Server Settings, Basic Server Settings
Disable
Show printers shared by other systems
Share published printers connected to this system
Allow users to cancel any job (not just their own)
Apply
No more problem.
