Bug Description

https://objectstorage.prodstack4-5.canonical.com/v1/AUTH_77e2ada1e7a84929a74ba3b87153c0ac/autopkgtest-zesty/zesty/amd64/libe/libembperl-perl/20170124_211909_8effb@/log.gz

This actually appears to be a Debian regression between:

https://ci.debian.net/data/packages/unstable/amd64/libe/libembperl-perl/20161203_210601.autopkgtest.log.gz and https://ci.debian.net/data/packages/unstable/amd64/libe/libembperl-perl/20161204_055831.autopkgtest.log.gz

The only package change is in pkg-perl-autopkgtest (src: pkg-perl-tests) 0.33 to 0.34 and it turns out that update changed the behavior of the perl autopkgtests to run with PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1. This in turn leads to output from the tests due to DynaLoader functional redefinition. That same pkg-perl-autopkgtest, though, added a whitelist functionality for when tests will emit expected output. I believe in this case, the redefinition warnings are expected.

---------------
libembperl-perl (2.5.0-10ubuntu1) zesty; urgency=medium

  * d/t/pkg-perl/use-whitelist: specify whitelist for DynaLoader
redefinition messages when PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 is set (LP: #1667121).
