Bug Description

The only remaining Ubuntu change can safely be dropped.

debian/patches/09_fix_eel.diff was added to resolve Bug 180400
This patch was written by the upstream author, and the issue has now been resolved upstream.

  * [debian/README.Debian]:
    - Removed autostart from mail-notification is patched is disabled.
    - Added information about configuring default mail reader.
    - Added information about Yahoo! and Hotmail support.
  * [debian/watch]:
    - Updated to version 3.
    - Added dversionmangling option to remove dfsg string.

Binary package hint: mail-notification

There is a new upstream version available at

The latest version includes a lot of bug fixes and new features, such as:

After a upgrade to Hardy ... mail notification is not upgraded to the version 5.1!...
Is there any reason?

Hardy is already frozen and mail-notification missed the ship. Getting version 5.1 as a backport is possible though when intrepid archive opens.
