Bug Description

Thinkpad X61 tablet.

System->preferences-->Power management

Setting "on battery power" suspend if battery critical.

I expect it to suspend when the battery runs out.

My machine switches off without any warning when the battery runs out.

Attached result of

gnome-power-bugreport.sh &> gpm.log

Note:

I have tried suspend and hibernate, neither work.
After I get the "warning machine will hibernate in 3 minutes" the battery "Power History" monitor displays my battery voltage falling to zero then the machine just dies.

Hi, you reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you also check if it happens with a never release of Ubuntu? Thank you in advance.

Hi, This appears to be fixed in 9.04. My machine now hibernates when the battery is critical. Thanks
