Bug Description
I went into suspend on AC power (Dell E1505 laptop) with firefox and thunderbird running. I unplugged the cord and tried to resume. The display came up and the cursor appeared, but then everything froze up and I had to Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. This is first problem I have had with Hardy suspend; it is also the first time I have tried to resume on battery power. Now I'm going to test both suspending and resuming on battery.
Also, when I logged back in after restarting X, thunderbird showed no problems starting up, but firefox said there was an unresponsive instance running. I had to forcibly kill it. Is this related? Firefox had no problems suspend/resuming before this.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
