Bug Description

Binary package hint: boson

Since the FTBFS patch isn't necessary anymore and my fix_desktop_files patch also got applied we can drop all changes
and make a sync.

 boson (0.13-4) unstable; urgency=low

   * fix a FTBFS on hppa by adding -mlong-calls, many thanks to
     Thibaut VARENE (Closes: #476730)
   * pass CFLAGS to cmake correctly
   * add fix_desktop_files.diff to make the desktop files Freedesktop
     compliant, Thanks Stefan Ebner (Closes: #475063)
   * remove boson-dbg, the package was big and not really useful
   * remove a \n in 0.12dfsg1-1 entry of the changelog

E: 'dpkg-source -x' failed for /home/lp_archive/syncs/boson_0.13-4.dsc [return code: 6400].

For some strange reason this does not sync. Might be a bug in dpkg-source on drescher.

 [dpkg-source output:] dpkg-source: error: file boson_0.13.orig.tar.gz has size 2279384 instead of expected 2278818

they have different orig.tar.gz and it can't be synced directly

Note that when you do a fake-sync it's good to take the changelog from the Ubuntu package, so that the history isn't lost.

It failed to build because the build dependencies depend on kdelibs5-dev but boson itself needs kdelibs4-dev (with which kdelibs5-dev conflicts). See http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15769907/buildlog_ubuntu-intrepid-i386.boson_0.13-4build1_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

Just changing boson's build dependency on kdelibs4-dev to kdelibs5-dev won't work (tried in PPA): http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15770835/buildlog_ubuntu-intrepid-lpia.boson_0.13-4ubuntu1_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

Note that this should have been tested BEFORE the upload. There is no possible way this package can work in Intrepid.

Thhe old version can't build because it needs kdemultimedia from KDE3 and
that doesn't exist in Intrepid.

The only way this game can come back is if it's ported to KDE4.

The dependency on kdemultimedia has been removed. The package should build fine now.
