Thanks for your report, what do you mean with doesn't respond? It hangs? you can't use the application after type the example?

Yes, gcalctool hangs. If power is small, I can use it after little time. With the example, after few mins, I can't use gcalctool.

May you please try to obtain a backtrace of the hang as http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and attach the file to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem.

gcalctool doesn't produce segmentation fault. It remains doing calculations all the short while. You can see attached video.

According to the video it does hangs, may you get a backtrace of it? I'm not able to reproduce the hang here, for instructions please have a look to the "Already running programs" section at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace ; thanks again.

I was able to reproduce this and get a backtrace of the hang, I've sent it upstream at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=548690 ; thanks for reporting.
