Bug Description

Binary package hint: postr

Debian has a new version which should be merged into Intrepid.

There are/were authentication issues, but they probably came with a later version of postr, so that the Hardy version works fine here.

Builds and runs fine in Intrepid pbuilder and PPA.

postr (0.12.1-1ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * Merge with Debian unstable (LP: #240191), remaining changes:
    - setup.py: Commented out nautilus-extentions 1.0 line
    - debian/control
      + removed python-elementtree from Depends as it is in
         python 2.5
      + added python-nautilus to Depends
    - Modified Maintainer field as per spec

postr (0.12.2-1) unstable; urgency=low

   * New upstream release.
     - Really fixes URL handler (Closes: #459486)

Please see if we can use this one instead, thank you :)

Checked the bug, the bug which is closed is for authentication. The package needs to be authenticated with flickr API and it does that. So this should be done both in Intrepid as well as Hardy Heron :)

I don't see why you need to comment out the extensions-1.0 line. The Debian approach of supporting both seems obviously better, and there's no need to revert this in Ubuntu as far as I can see.
