Debdiff to fix this (replace Build-Dep on python with python-all). Wasnt too sure about the versioning and nor was #ubuntu-motu, so I just had a guess.

I don't think usb-creator should require python-all in order to build; python should be sufficient

Instead of this patch, I think changing XS-Python-Version from "all" to "current" would be preferable. That also means that you end up with a dependency on python rather than python2.4.

@Colin:

Correct that does fix this (in a better way than my original patch). Here is a patch for your changes. Same naming confusion as I mentioned above.

This bug was fixed in the package usb-creator - 0.1.1

---------------
usb-creator (0.1.1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * Fix FTBFS. Thanks David Futcher (LP: #267103).
  * Corrected licensing to GPLv3 rather than GPLv3+.
  * Replaced 'Select a CD image...' combobox item with an Add button
    (LP: #267798).
  * Fixed some widget spacing issues.
  * Fixed progress reporting and switched back to using the internal install
    routine.
  * Unset the sensitivity of the install button where appropriate.
  * Added a successful completion dialog.
  * Added a install cancellation confirmation dialog.
  * Properly shut down the install process when exiting.
  * Properly clean up loop mounted filesystems and temporary directories.
  * Added support for physical CDs.
  * Fixed a bug wherein a newly inserted USB key would accidentally get added
to the list of sources and trigger an exception.
