Bug Description

Ubuntu Intrepid fully updated
Version: 0.20.2-0ubuntu1

Problem: Even after "Minimize to tray on close" option is enabled in Preferences, the button control ("Close") in the bottom right hand corner quits the app. I understand why this happens (the former "close" means the window controls in the upper right hand corner), but this is misleading.

Steps to reproduce:
1. enable "Minimize to tray on close" in prefs
2. in the main UI, click on the button that says "Close"
3. App closes, when in fact I think it should minimize.

Best regards,
aamukahvi

Thanks for your report. The Close button (gtk-close) you refer to has already been changed [1] to a Quit button (gtk-quit) in the latest development version. This version is not in Intrepid, but you can get gufw 0.20.4_beta from https://launchpad.net/gui-ufw/+download . Please test with it and let me know if this is an acceptable solution. Thanks again.

Marcos, please don't mark Ubuntu bugs as Fix Released if you've fixed the bug in bzr but the fix is not in the Ubuntu package.
I'm working to update the package to 0.20.4.

This bug was fixed in the package gui-ufw - 0.20.4-0ubuntu1

gui-ufw (0.20.4-0ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.
  * Install upstream man page, also remove useless debian/{manpages,gufw.1}.
  * This new version fixes LP: #275063.
