Bug Description

Binary package hint: mobile-broadband-provider-info

Per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NetworkManager/Hardware/3G I had to put "orange"/"orange" in the authentication fields to connect to the GB "Orange (contact)" entry using an Orange branded 3g Dongle.

Chris. just to be sure, you first tried without the user/pass and it didn't work?

Antti: correct. I will produce the patch properly in a week or two when I'm back in the office and have hardware to test with.

Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that "corrected orangeinternet username and password patch" was not flagged as a patch. A patch contains changes to an Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug and this attachment is one! Subsequently, I've checked the patch flag for it. In the future when submitting patches please use the patch checkbox as there are some Launchpad searches that use this feature. Thanks for your contribution Andres Mujica!
