Bug Description

gPapers looks like a promising tool to manage scientific papers.

From the website:
"This is gPapers, the open-sourced, Gnome based digital library manager. Think of it as an iTunes for your PDFs."

This is an extremely useful tool for everyone who has many pdf files, especially scientists who routinely read many documents every day.
Developing it and packaging it would make another reason for Mac users to switch to Ubuntu. Currently the only reason I have a macbook is the "Papers" software, which only runs on Macs.

Looking at the project's page, it looks like it is dead...? I can recommend the Referencer instead, which is in the repos.
