Bug Description

Binary package hint: oem-config

Testing ISO http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20090225/jaunty-desktop-amd64.iso the oem configuration failed to let me enter any details because of an error pop-up message that kept on appearing every time I tried to OK it.

Test: http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/DesktopOem, End User Creation (Case ID: uoi-003).

On the System Configuration "Who are you?" screen I got the error message:

"The username you entered is invalid. Note that usernames
must start with a lower-case letter, which can be followed
by any combination of numbers and more lower-case
letters."

Installed on Dell 6400 Inspirion laptop. English/London Timezone, US keyboard.

Attached is a photo of the error.
