Docky won't unhide after rev 1053

Bug Description
If I use Docky 0.8.1 rev >= 1053, and turn on autohide, Docky no longer appears, except for brief flickers.
workaround: press ALT + Space then select the dock and hover it, press Esc or Disable autohide.
