Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

When from a Bluetooth device you try to connect to the computer, a “Bluetooth Device” bubble appears with the text “Pairing request for device name” and an “Enter PIN code” button that, when clicked, opens an authentication alert for entering the PIN. Instead, the authentication alert should open unfocused directly, and request attention.

This should really check the capabilities to determine which behavior, right Cody?

Ken,

some nitpicking for improving the debdiff:

- debdiff changed a previous changelog entry
- "do the right thing" is not appropriate for a changelog; it should properly describe the effect
- please forward patch upstream and include reference in patch header (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/PatchTaggingGuidelines)

Thanks!

Could you provide it also to gnome-bluetooth which is a fork of
bluez-gnome, and proposed for inclusion in gnome 2.28.

Regards.

I will try to get the patch reworked for gnome-bluetooth after the Jaunty release.
