Bug Description
Binary package hint: sabnzbdplus
Upstream released 0.4.7, which contains several minor bug fixes, as well as changing the licensing for the webtoolkit.aim.js file. Previously this file was GPL-2 only, causing a conflict with Apache licensed code elsewhere in the release, forcing a repack of the tarball and disabling the sabnzbdplus-
* Repacking is no longer necessary;
* The most popular of the extra web interfaces can be made available to Ubuntu users again.
Furthermore:
* No packages depend on sabnzbdplus, so no risk of breakage elsewhere;
* Sabnzbdplus-
* Builds, installs, removes, and starts fine, testing done using pbuilder and a clean install of jaunty in qemu;
* Current SABnzbd+ releases don't like python 2.6 (upstream intends to fix this in a future release); this update makes the program use python 2.5 exclusively, avoiding any such issues. The version of the package currently in the archive is uninstallable due to the python transition, and wouldn't work properly if it were simply rebuilt without changes.
* New upstream bugfix release. (LP: #339498) theme-plush. sabnzbdplus in sys.path. patches/ 05_force_ python_ version. dpatch: change the shebang line
* License for webtoolkit.aim.js has changed, negating the need to repack:
+ updated debian/copyright accordingly.
+ stripped redundant get-orig-source from debian/rules.
+ restored binary package sabnzbdplus-
* Updated patch 01 to work with this release.
* Modified debian/rules to allow (re)starting on upgrade.
* Install the python files as a private module:
+ updated patch 02 to include /usr/share/
* Program not yet compatible with Python 2.6, use only 2.5:
+ debian/
in the main executable to point to /usr/bin/python2.5.
+ modified dependencies to be python2.5 specific.
* Corrected copyright years for main program.
* Assorted minor improvements to the init script:
+ handle the shebang line dynamically.
+ set exit status to zero when files are missing.
