Plugin "Subtitels downloader" can't be activated

Binary package hint: totem

Acording to the GNOME 2.26 release notes totem has a new "subtitles downloader". You' ll find under "Edit -> Plugins -> Subtitles downloader". But when i try to activate the plugin i get the error message

Plugin Error
Unable to activate plugin Subtitles downloader

Inside a terminal i see

i have the same issue and dont find any answer for this run on jaunty upgrade from intrepid

This bug was fixed in the package totem - 2.26.0-0ubuntu2

Hi man I have this problem too, but I solved creating a dir in:

 mkdir -p ~/.cache/totem/subtitles

this will work for you.
