Binary package hint: apport

Toolbar was frozzen. Switching to console screens were possible at the first time. after switching back to X11, the whole system was frozzen.

The description you gave (hung panel) is a different problem than this apport crash, although it's possible that it has the same root cause. What is the output of

  dpkg -l python-gtk2

? Did you have an upgrade failure?
