Bug Description
Hi,
In trying to install Flight 5 Kubuntu, the installer was hanging on network detection for a default i386 install. I have a D-Link DWL-AG530 wireless card that requires ndiswrapper and a RealTek RTL8139/810X on a shuttle board.
With the wireless card installed, I couldn't get past the network detection and could not find anywhere to manually configure networking. This was both using the wireless card to get out (which I expected) but also with the RealTek hooked into the cable modem.
After removing the wireless card, the installer detected the RealTek without any problems. Short of having an option to manually configure which card to use, would it be possible to flag this in the installer error?
Thanks.
Thank you for your bug report.

Is the card still causing problems on more recent dapper beta CDs?
