Bug Description
Hi
I did nasty things. I copied the SD install image for babbage imx51 to an SD card; this image currently has one partition.
I booted into the live system, opened a terminal and created a partition (unformatted) with fdisk to use as the target install system. Note that while the part table was updated, the /dev/mmcblk0p2 device didn't appear.
I started ubiquity (in debug mode in this case) and when I reached the step where it would display the partitioning screen, it hung and wouldn't do any progress anymore. It was NOT using 100% CPU.
attaching debug logs.
Bye

Looks like it's hanging in init.d/parted while filtering devices. Could you repeat this test, except with 'set -x' near the top of /lib/partman/ init.d/ 30parted, please?
