As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Linuxadditc, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Jaunty reached EOL on October 23, 2010.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Is this an issue in a supported release? If so, could you please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 359741

As well, as per http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=driverSupport&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US a driver for Ubuntu is available for your printer. Could you please advise if this allows your printer to work?
