drscheme doesn't appear it the Applications/Programming menu

Bug Description

Binary package hint: plt-scheme

drscheme is a user-accessible gui program so I think it should appear under Applications/Programs, but it does not.

I can see there is a file /usr/share/menu/plt-scheme but for some reason it doesn't seem active.

I can't see any mention of it in the gnome menu editor.

I was bitten by this same bug today.

Attached is a .desktop file you can put in /usr/share/applications.

Add .desktop file for DrScheme Edit (928 bytes, text/plain)

I've sent a patch along to Debian, and I've sent a .desktop file to upstream in case they might want to include it there. I'll attach the same patch here that I sent to Debian, for reference. It's not a debdiff, hope that's okay. Also, watch the Debian bug (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=513390) for news.

PLT-Scheme has now become Racket. (See http://racket-lang.org) What Ubuntu really needs now is a package for Racket. I think this bug may be obsolete.
