Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

On upgrade to ubuntu jaunty jackalope 9.4 sound has begun to stutter intermittently. This can be either startup sound or when playing an MP3 with Rhythmbox. I tried clean install of 9.4 with the same result. also followed the instructions from the sticky on comprehensive multimedia and video from the ubuntu forum/Multimedia and Video section. Resetting the sound to use OSS sometimes works for a while but the stuttering always occurs sooner or later.

good day everyone, im using lucid lynx and im having a bit problem with my soundcard, after installing the sound card (intex) and disabling the onboard audio (disabled on BIOS too) the sound on mp3s stutters after 1 minute of playback and on you tube it as no sound. if i enable the onboard audio there's no problem. i tried all the workarounds shown on ubuntu forums and still can't figure this out. still unable to get a fix. help!!!!
i really appreciate it if somebody out there can give me a fix. thanks in advance to every one. rock ON!!
