Bug Description

Binary package hint: ircd-hybrid

ircd-hybird conflicts with inspircd it should not

This is caused by hybrid's declaring a conflict with ircd which, as of etch is effectively a virtual package. Inspircd and ircd-hybrid share none of the same files meaning they can peacefully co-exist on the same system if one or the other is configured to listen on a different port or is bound to a different IP (a common situation for Ircops that have multiple network links running on the same box).

Here is a patch to fix that

This bug was fixed in the package ircd-hybrid - 1:7.2.2.dfsg.2-6ubuntu2

---------------
ircd-hybrid (1:7.2.2.dfsg.2-6ubuntu2) karmic; urgency=low

  * Prevent conflict with other ircds remove Conflicts: ircd.
    - inspircd and ircd-ratbox are the only current ircds that
aren't explicitly conflicted with, and there are no file
conflicts with those packages. (LP: #375619)
