Bug Description

Whenever I connect to a remote place via "Places>Connect to server..." and enter my credentials for the remote host and Connect a password box appears, it seems logical that the password box is directly related to the server I just connected to (and that I'm not sending away my password to another server).

What I would like to suggest is that the password box get some information about the host you are trying to connect to, like the server name, user name etc that you entered in "Places>Connect to server...". I don't like password boxes with no text or description, it makes me feel a bit worried.

Sorry for the lacking English.

/Tomas "tomplast" Gustavsson

Do you still have this issue? On lucid (beta) it looks like this. (Sorry, but the text in swedish is something along the lines "Enter password for ftp as *username* on *host*")

Actually, it does seems to be a problem. I just opened a URL with ctrl + l and entered ssh://user@host and then the dialog said "Enter password". I'll see if I can take a look at this issue later.

Actually this is not a nautilus problem but a gvfs. However I think I can create a patch for it. Stay tuned ;)
