Bug Description

On Ubuntu Hardy (actually on all Ubuntus) /var/run/ is purged at each boot.
Samhain uses "/var/run/samhain/samhain.pid", and if the directory "/var/run/samhain/" does not exist, samhain doesn't start and outputs this in logfile :
ERROR : [2009-06-23T15:14:24+0200] msg=<Could not write PID file>, userid=<0>, path=</var/run/samhain/samhain.pid>

After :
'mkdir /var/run/samhain'
Samhain starts successfully

Here's my go at a patch to add PID file support to samhain. Tested on Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS, samhain package version 2.2.3-6.2.
