The upstream patch of this bug seems non-trivial, please explain in the changelog what you did to fix this:
+ * Fix LP: #323943

Changelogs lines should be (almost :P ) self-explaining.

Yes, that IMHO clarify that's not a change made by you, and it's contained in upstream sources.
